Mallappa Badiger was a state award winning Ratha Shilpi from Badami, Karnataka.
He passed away in the middle of a project. His sons Suresh and Mahesh are almost blind due to Retinitis Pigmentosa. But they finished a 29 feet ratha for Maruteshwara temple, with touch sculpting!! pic.twitter.com/4zlwQQUMQY

The latest chariot made by these blind brothers for a temple in Kushtagi Taluk of Karnataka was dedicated to the temple on 16th April, this year..
Now, just have a look at this chariot, made by these two brothers using their extraordinary talent.. ..2/2

Wow!!! They might not be having sight but they surely possess ‘divine vision’ to be able to sculpt with such finesse. Hats off to them… 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

These two brothers must be honoured by the govt and offer them with all the financial assistance in order to regain their eyesight. That will be the best memento they deserve.
